Steve Lambert (writer) joined Southwest Scriptwriters last autumn and has been writing since his schooldays. His poetry has been published in anthologies and magazines, including Ambit. He has also written prize-winning short stories. Steve has tried his hand at radio, TV and film scripts, including a short film due to go into production soon. He is putting the final polish to a novel about a group of young people who fall prey to sinister forces in 1980-90s Britain, and is part way through a second, an absurdly ambitious alternative history set in Europe and the USA. He is also working on a full-length stage play, set in the North West of England and even more exotic parts of the globe.

Pameli Benham (director) enjoys Bristol’s rich acting and directing opportunities, working regularly with Theatre West and Stepping Out Theatre. She accepts any other offer that’s challenging, legal and decent, filling the gaps with writing, singing, dancing, teaching, sculpting and gardening. Recent acting roles include Grace in the one-woman piece Meeting Amy Johnson, two garrulous Welsh women in A Pint On the House (by Southwest Scriptwriter John Colborn), Lucy in Afterlife for ITV, Babushka Barbara in Rasputin and the Mad Hatters of Minsk, and two old women in Le Grand Meaulnes, Radio 4’s Classic Serial this August.
