William House (writer) has been a member of Southwest Scriptwriters for eight years. During this time he has developed an interest in the Absurdist style of writing. His one act palindromic play, Merrygoround, was premiered at the Shaftesbury Arts Centre in March 2005 where the production won a cup for bravery! Other recent credits include a rehearsed reading of his full length play, Percy, at the Tobacco Factory in 2003 (featuring a stuffed dog in the title role). Lissa Carter (director) is a director/actor based in the southwest. She trained at New College and has an MA in Performance from Bristol University. | Charlotte D'Arcy (stage manager) has been on a placement with the stage management department of the Nottingham Playhouse and at the Salisbury Playhouse. Recently graduated from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School where she was the Stage Manager on The Front Page and The Witch of Edmonton tour, DSM on The Mysteries, ASM on Maria Marten, Sound Designer/Operator on A Small Family Business, and Construction Assistant on The Merry Wives of Windsor. Eloise Howe (Angela) completed a BA (Hons) Ed in Theatre at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama before training as an actress at Guildford School of Acting in 2000. This year’s theatre includes Rhiannon in To Have and to Hold for Hijinx Theatre at the Wales Millennium Centre and national tour; Creon, the Corinthian and Chorus in Oedipus the King and the Dromio of Ephesus in The Comedy of Errors both at the Swansea Grand Theatre. This year's screen appearances include Marilyn Partridge in Casualty and Crystal in the Steel and Glass Productions film Teenage Wasteland. Her most recent appearance in Bristol as Bex in Corrupts Absolutely with Theatre West in 2004 had the Venue critic hailing her as 'Bristol’s answer to Frances Barber', which pleased her immensely and made her laugh loudly.
